Stop and Smell the Roses

Take a look at interior design photos in magazines, Pinterest, Houzz, and anywhere else you draw inspiration and you’ll notice one thing that pretty much every image has in common: fresh florals. As far as Wolfe-Rizor is concerned, nothing finishes off a space like fresh flowers…whether it’s cut flowers from a local grocery store tossed in a beautiful glass vase or a one-of-a kind arrangement made just for that special event or living area.

When designing a home, we include fresh flowers in almost every room. We use flowers to not only enhance a space but to give a room ambiance. For example, they can give a room softness or serve as a sculptural piece. Eye-catching and bold florals can become the focal point that makes a room complete, or an ever-changing pop of color to delight the senses.

We also like to use flowers that represent the season while keeping your home’s color scheme and style in mind. Try striking fall leaves in October and November, hot yellow forsythia in March or gorgeous hot pink peonies in May.

Wolfe-Rizor often works with local florists like Orlando’s Lee James Floral  Design and Winter Park’s Ginny’s Orchids to come up with the perfect look for our client’s house and then recommends having a monthly or even weekly subscription with them  to freshen up your home all year round. It’s the perfect way to keep the magical ‘reveal day’ feeling in your home each and every day!
