We always enjoy partnering with local builders to create spec homes. If you’re wondering what that is, it’s when a builder buys a piece of land and designs and builds a home without a buyer, then markets the home for sale. Our longtime partner Builder Darryl Hall with Michael Charles Homes retained our services to create this gorgeous five bedroom family home on Mizell Avenue in Winter Park.
We started from the blueprints with this one. We worked with the architects at Winter Park Design to design the best layouts for the best living experience. One of WRI’s main components of good design is flow of a house. Not only with the layouts, but with color and architectural features. The finishes, fixtures and interior elements make this new home in Winter Park truly exceptional. The gray herringbone tile by Tesoro spans the entire downstairs, creating cohesion from room to room. Shades of gray are a Wolfe-Rizor signature, a timeless neutral that brings a calming, up-to-date look to our designs. Clean lines and custom built-ins create a graceful, functional living space.
The kitchen is truly stunning, with a seamless quartz waterfall countertop enveloping the sides of the expansive kitchen island. WRI teamed up with Central Kitchen & Bath to create custom cabinetry throughout the house.
This house has the latest trends with an open plan. There’s no formal living space or dining space, it’s airy with a flow designed for family living, where everyone is part of the goings-on. The family room features a wall of La Cantina glass doors leading to the terrace and pool. This brings the outside in, another signature of WRI designs.
